So I went to Washington Memorial Park today in Macon and it wasn't what I had expected...in a good way and bad. First, it was very small and I had expected it to be much bigger, especially considering the fact that I had just saw it on the news a few days ago when they had some kind of party there. 
Also, it had palm trees...which (smack in the middle of downtown Macon) is kinda weird! Today was cloudy and I had brought my water colours to paint a scene in the park (that assignment is due next week), but the temperature was nice and cool. The only thing that ruined my trip was a creepy guy that came from the neighborhood next to the park and he just kept staring at me...but he kept his distance. Soon afterwards I left because I got this creepy feeling that this guy was bad news. Thank the Lord that He kept me safe because I was all by myself...I won't be going back to Washington Park any time soon:(
