A.A. in Art

I’m still working on the associates in Art. Things looked bad for a while though… I filled out a form for a graduation audit at the beginning of the summer semester and it was returned by the Registrar’s office saying that I was stilled required to take one more course! However, I have actually already taken that course, just under a different name. It is so frustrating to have your institution tell you that you need to take a course that hasn’t even been offered in the last several semesters!!!! UGHHHH!!!! Oh well, I filed a “student petition” to change the course requirement and accept the other class that I took, since it is sufficient enough to satisfy the requirement. I have to wait for the petition to be approved by both the Chair of the department (Humanities) and the Dean of the college, then it will be sent back to the Registrar’s department and they will actually make the change on my transcript and reevaluate my grad audit….ugh life is just NOT fair sometimes…this is ALL going to be worth it ONE DAY!!
